Growing up between Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta, Chef Deb Peña has now opened her first tortillería here on Salt Spring Island.

At our heart, we are a tortillería. We produce 100% corn tortillas, using only organic yellow corn masa and natural Salt Spring spring water. On occasion we produce tortillas using the nixtamalization process with native corn from Mexico, lime and water. Either way, our tortillas are so fresh + so tasty!

 

PANTRY

Our pantry is your go-to when you’re cooking Mexican dishes at home. Grab some of Deb’s salsa, our tortillas, or a hard-to-find ingredient you need.

take-away

We serve Mexican street food, fast. Hot and ready to eat. From agua frescas to tacos, tortas to paletas, stop in anytime to grab something quick to eat. Take it with you to a nearby beach!

 

tACO KITS

How this all began: taco kits. During the Summer of 2020 we delivered taco kits made from locally sourced ingredients to customers. Now, we have taco kits available at the tortillería. Pick one up and heat at home!
